Weather conditions: Snow, ice and heavy rain.
Number of sessions: I managed the recommended 3 sessions but again it was a fall over into Monday. The heavy snow made it impossible to run when I was away in Stevenage getting the week off to a bad start. Back home the running track was iced up as were the pavements. The local park had turned into a lake and I was denied the use of a treadmill unless I booked in for a £13 induction. So first run of the week wasn't until Thursday when I managed a slippy 4 miles on the pavements. By Saturday the sun was shining so I headed out for my 10 mile long run. It was fantastic! I ran from home to Writtle College and back. I spotted a heron/crane fishing in the stream outside the college, there were bunnies galore on the lawn but best of all I saw a munt jack deer! Major excitement!! It really was magical. The running week ended with my 5 mile fartlek (speedy efforts) session this morning in torrential rain. There were a couple of other mugs out who couldn't even be bothered to raise an arm let alone a hello...
Weekly mileage: 19
Total to date: 73.21
Me soaked this morning...not a good look.
